These postcards have been sent out addressed directly to the 7th and 8th grade students.
Do you find this acceptable? Do you want the RI Dept of Health direct mailing your children? Please comment and let us know your thoughts.
Sign the petition to reverse the mandate of the HPV vaccination and advocate for informed consent.
DONATE NOW to fight against the hundreds of thousands that the RI Dept of Health has at its disposal. Informed Consent is everyone’s right and our priority, please help us today.
Sending directly to students violates the parents 14th Amendment Constitutional due process right to parent their children. According to the U.S. Supreme Court: “Most children, even in adolescence, simply are not able to make sound judgments concerning . . . their need for medical care or treatment. Parents can and must make those judgments.” Parham v. J.R., 442 U.S. 584, 603 (1979). I’d be happy to write a letter to the appropriate authorities about this, on behalf of parents in the state, if you wish. Alan Phillips, JD, Vaccine Rights Attorney, http://www.vaccinerights.com,

We got this same card–only it was addressed to “To the Parents of…” and it had my 7 year old’s name. I have older children who are in the bracket that could get this shot..– they didn’t send it to them–just the parents of the 7 year old..
